Residence Křižíkova 125
The picturesque Karlín attracts visitors to its newly acquired reputation as an art district where greenery blends in with modern business as well as romantic cafes, the restaurants’ variety of the world and with its artistic soul. Within a few meters you will find all the architectural styles of the last 700 years – from Gothic in the very center to the new hypermodern complexes on its edge. Karlín could be described as a city within the city. The living artery is no doubt the metro line with three stations.
The spacious and newly renovated accommodation units meet all modern standards of living. The flats in the house are oriented to the south and east, which guarantees the sunshine, and partly to the north. In addition, the southeast apartments have a beautiful bay window.

There is probably nothing you can’t find in Karlin or the surrounding area. There are countless cafes, bars and restaurants along the entire length of Sokolovská and Křižíkova streets, as well as shops, small shops, but also larger supermarkets. Karlín is also dedicated to art, which means that you will find big and small theaters here, music bars, even film studios or a large concert hall in the Karlín Forum.
The Slovanský dům multiplex is 2 metro stops away, as is one of Prague's largest shopping malls – Palladium. In the immediate vicinity you will also find a number of schools, from kindergartens to universities.
Right next to the house there is a Central European Baroque gem – Invalidovna. Built according to a project by architect Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer in the 1830s, it was originally intended to serve as a nursing home for war veterans, but in the end the plan was canceled – only a ninth of the original plan was realized.
Towards the city, Karlín is dominated by a Neo-Romanesque three-aisled basilica from the mid-19th century, a little further away is the Karlín Synagogue from the same period and Florence opens the gate to the Old Town of Prague, starting with the Prague City Museum.
Excellent transport services are provided mainly by line B metro stations Křižíkova and Invalidovna, both 5 minutes walk. Metro B is here roughly in the middle of its line and, so in addition to direct and quick access to the city center, it also offers fast and comfortable connections to the eastern and western outskirts of Prague.
To access the rest of the city or other transport hubs, you can take the main tram lines 3, 8 and 24 from the adjacent Urxova stop, a 2-minute walk. To get to the opposite bank of the Vltava River, you can use the metro line C with a connection to Florence, or a romantic ferry with a stop on Střelecký Island.
Parking is available directly in the street and thanks to the purple city zones also for your visits.
In the immediate vicinity you will find plenty of freely accessible greenery, gardens and parks. First of all, next to the house is Lyčkovo náměstí park and around the corner of the adjacent street lies Kaizlovy sady with a playground, which then passes smoothly into the park in front of the Invalidovna. From Florence you can also easily cross the Hlávka Bridge to Štvanice Island, which is entirely dedicated to leisure activities.
Also available is a giant park on the Vítkov Hill, the center of which is the National Monument with an unmistakable statue of Jan Žižka of Trocnov. A fantastic bike path and a skating track flow through the park.
