From the basic services you have everything within walking distance, whether it is grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants with traditional and international cuisine, medical care and schools; even kindergartens.
However, the crucial thing here is the almost immediate access to the local center Anděl City – Nový Smíchov. What you can imagine, is there. And mostly not just once. There are two multiplex cinemas, one of them even with advanced perception technology 4DX. In addition to multiplex cinemas, there is one of the best and largest shopping centers in the city – Anděl City Nový Smíchov, countless premium restaurants of domestic, international and vegan-vegetarian cuisine, bars, cafes, pastry shops and grocery stores full with specialties from all around the world.
The network of pharmacies, general practitioners and specialists is complemented by cosmetic services, spas (even the beer ones) and all sorts of cultural activities.
The house, itself historical, is located in a part of Prague, where almost any building can boast of at least a century-and-a-half-long tradition. Right on the main avenue you will find the Manor House from the beginning of the 17th century. In the Klamovka garden it will be a chateau of the same name and a romantic Temple of Night built in the 18th century. The Cibulka Park offers the visit of Chinese Pavilion, the Cibulka Lookout Tower and a number of sculptures set in the surrounding landscape.
The indisputable advantage is, of course, the easy accessibility of the Prague conservation area under the patronage of UNESCO, through the hub at Anděl.
Very good transport accessibility is ensured primarily by the express tram line Anděl – Řepy with a stop Kavalírka, where lines 9, 10, 15, 16 and 21 await you. Later they split to all corners of Prague on the eight-minute distant Anděl traffic hub.
At the Anděl, you can use the metro line B, several other tram lines and twenty bus lines for your next transfer. International transport is provided by the Na Knížecí bus station, or by express connection to the airport.
The big advantage is that in the immediate vicinity you will find a quantity of freely accessible greenery. As you pass the Šmukýřka Hill around the state protected yew trees at Turbová, the Jinonice valley opens and your walk can stretch for hours of uninterrupted vegetation. You can also use trails in the adjacent forests Božínka, Šalamounka and Měchurka.
Natural monument Skalka Is located across the main avenue, where thanks to an accessible stone quarry you can see the geographical history of Prague from the Paleozoic to the present day, or the nearby Klamovka garden.
