There are many restaurants, bars and cafés in the immediate surroundings. Directly opposite the house is Café Švihanka, in the orchards Restaurant Park Cafe, a little further away is the burger-bar The Tavern, Korean-Japanese restaurant Hanil, pure Japanese rest. Yamato, Coffeepark cafe, patisserie Vinohradské cakes or favorite bio bistro Mikrofarma on Jiřího z Poděbrad square.
All other services can be found in the adjacent streets and alleys, especially in the Vinohrady marketplace, where there is also a supermarket. Countless school and preschool facilities can also be found within a few minutes' walk.
Vinohrady (Vineyards) are one great historical remembrance for their own, but within walking distance you will appreciate the monumental church imitating Noah's Ark designed by the famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik, the neo-Gothic church of st. Ludmila in Peace Square, newly renovated National Museum with a new building of the former Federal Assembly or the State Opera House. You will see the Prague Castle complex basically directly from the house, as well as most of the old hundred spires of Prague.
If you come down the hill Vinohradská třída, you will also have the opportunity to enter both Prague's Old and New Town.
The metro line A – Jiřího z Poděbrad station, 8 minutes walk away, provides a very good transport service. The station also serves as a transfer point to the tram lines 11 and 13. The lower stop Vinohradská tržnice offers the same distance and the same tram lines, but also a variety of shopping opportunities.
Three minutes walk, in the street Korunní, you can find other tram lines, numbers 10, 16 and night line 91, at the stops Vinohradská vodárna and Šumavská.
Your parking is possible in front of the house, thanks to the blue urban zones for residents. Visitors can park in the adjacent streets Slavíkova and Polská.
In the immediate vicinity you will find plenty of freely accessible greenery, gardens and parks. Directly from the house you can enter the giant and terrain-rugged Rieger Orchards with playgrounds, outdoor and indoor sports, observation pavilion and a breathtaking view of the historical panorama of Prague.
After enjoying the atmosphere of the place, you can move freely to the Garden of Eden. Yes, this is the name of a smaller park next to the big one with another playground, outdoor gym and water area.
Through Škroupovo Square with its own mini park you can reach Mahler Gardens with mini golf in five minutes, directly below the Žižkov TV Tower with a restaurant with unrivaled views.
